Entrepreneurship Activity

Throughout the year, you can take part in Project-Based learning workshops, enterprise events, seasonal markets, and motivational talks delivered by external stakeholders, industry experts and/or Curriculum Development Leads for Entrepreneurship. These sessions are designed to inspire entrepreneurial thinking and develop transversal skills required for employment/self-employment or business creation.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in project-based learning competitions, pitching your ideas and solutions to panels of industry professionals. Successful participants may progress to regional competitions to compete against students from other colleges across Northern Ireland.

Lastly, you can also get involved in the Young Enterprise NI Start Up and Team Programmes to develop your enterprise skills further. This includes setting up running your own start up, trading in local shopping centres and the YENI BIG Market, in ST George’s market Belfast as well as entering your area competition which may provide the opportunity for you to attend the end of year gala ball.

These experiences provide valuable opportunities to showcase entrepreneurial talent, build professional networks and enhance CVs, LinkedIn profiles and UCAS applications.
